My husband and I joined tour guide Justin on a hot night in July 2022. He did a fabulous job of storytelling of events reported to have happened along Main Street. He was sharing one of his personal experiences in a building while we were standing outside the glass store front. The pendent light in the window starting swinging pretty wildly, more than the A/C vent could cause. Toward the end, the lights flickered and went on and off inside the building and overhead. No explanation and he assured us the tour company does not provide this kind of experience! Whatever caused it, we totally enjoyed the evening and highly recommend this tour. Thanks! -Shanna N.

My parents and I had the best time on our tour. We are locals to Fredericksburg so we really got a lot of joy out of learning little bits of unknown history about the town. Tristen did a fantastic job! He worked really hard to make sure we had a good time and stayed engaged. We really appreciated his humor and professionalism. My husband and I first discovered ghost tours in New Orleans about five years ago and seek them out now whenever we are in a new place - I would put the Fredericksburg Ghost Walk up against any other tour we have gone on, including those in larger cities. As a high school speech and debate coach, I travel frequently with students and have included them on tours across the country - Chicago, Birmingham, San Antonio, Dallas and more. Last week we found ourselves in Fredericksburg for a leadership retreat and I took ten of my students on the tour, which far exceeded our expectations. The guide artfully combined the theatrical delivery one expects from a ghost tour with detailed and engaging stories about the region's history. The walking tour, which took about an hour and a half, is well planned and timed, with appropriately spaced attractions, sufficient rest stops and ample opportunity to observe Fredericksburg's unique and breathtaking architecture. Additionally, the company holds themselves to a high standard, having conducted thorough research and vetted the stories on the tour through local historical records. The mark of a successful tour, my students took almost two hours to finish telling their own ghost stories and wind down for the night. We will definitely be making the tour a part of all of our future visits to Fredericksburg. -Gina L.
